Summary:

"A library apprentice, a sorcerer prince, and an unbreakable magic bond...

The Solaris Empire is one conquest away from uniting the continent, and the rare elemental magic sleeping in seventeen-year-old library apprentice Vhalla Yarl could shift the tides of war.

Vhalla has always been taught to fear the Tower of Sorcerers, a mysterious magic society, and has been happy in her quiet world of books. But after she unknowingly saves the life of one of the most powerful sorcerers of them all—the Crown Prince Aldrik—she finds herself enticed into his world. Now she must decide her future: Embrace her sorcery and leave the life she’s known, or eradicate her magic and remain as she’s always been. And with powerful forces lurking in the shadows, Vhalla’s indecision could cost her more than she ever imagined."

What can I say about this?
A breath of fresh air. The intoxicating fresh smell of earth after the rain. Double rainbows in the sky on a Sunday. Oh how my heart flutters thinking about this book.
Goodreads recommended this books because of my bad boy syndrome. And I sincerely thank you. *bows*
And Can I say, I just love the cover. And lets all appreciate the beauty for a moment. Thank you. Moving on.
The start of the story was.....interesting. It dived right into the action without giving the readers any explanation of why or how. The MC, Vhalla Yarl, is a library apprentice in royal library of the palace. I liked her from chapter one. I really liker her as a character. One who is smart but who is also self-doubting, and I really loved her when she comes to know she is a Windwalker, the only air sorcerers in the last hundred and fifty years, she right off doesn't start using her power but is reluctant to use it. And even has doubts should she eradicate it. Its a fun read. When she unknowingly saves the life of the Crown Prince Aldrik, things start getting more problematic. For he starts taking interest in her. And really though, that scene where he pushed her off from the roof...and the scene after that well that was something. You know what I am talking about. If you haven't guessed who is the Bad guy/good guy, then its him. Our own Crown Prince Aldrik of Solaris Empire. Bad boy and a Prince. *ohh Mama Mia* Ya. YA. I know that was cheesy. Can't help my girly ways.
I seriously enjoyed their time together, the talks in the gardens. If you have any doubts, I will clear it right now. I totally ship them together. And thank god the author didn't make them falling in love after one week. I like it when a love takes it times to fully evolve. But what good did that do. Its not as if they shared their feeling with each other. I normally don't like two prince's at one time. I know strange rule. But Prince Baldair brother to Prince Aldrik, I liked him. All his smiles, cerulean eyes, blond hair brings out the best in a girl. For all of his charm, I think he is still hiding something. Maybe we will know more of him in the second book. Price Aldrik is totally opposite than Baldair. I mean literally. Where Baldair will wear colorful clothes you will find Aldrik in Black. Baldair is always smiling, talking. And Aldrik is a silent man which dark piercing eyes and slick black hair.
Whenever Aldrik and Vhalla talked to each other, I felt just wow. I seriously enjoyed their conversation.
The Last hundred or so pages were so gripping. I couldn't keep it down. Who else read it through the night just because we couldn't put it down. We had to know what happens to her? At the Trail? Were you not mentally screaming at Aldrik. Or proud at Vhalla for finally coming to terms with her elemental magic. Or when she finally had the guts to say to him what was in her heart at the gala. or when a characters dies? Well sorry If I am throwing some spoilers at your face shamelessly.
The world building was great. The words used by the author were just perfect. Not too much forced nor too poetic. The writing is just wonderful. My only problem was there were some words missing in between the lines. Maybe it was just in my copy or in general. Maybe editing probs. I don't know and Don't care. Because that much I loved it to even look over this minor trouble.I just can't wait for november to come soon enough. Who do I give my money to so that I can read the second book Right Now!!
Guys and Girls, read this.
