I liked the overall concept of the book. The story was good. But it was something everybody has already read a gazillion times. This book is a urban fantasy genre which focused on Greek mythology and the four heroes and adventure. The summary of this novel is spot on. I don't have to explain anything but I will do so anyway. As the title name suggests, Aiden- the protagonist of the story-an 18 year your average awkward shy teenager who has recently graduated from high school and is ready to start college. He has a twin sister. Things don't go according to plan when he arrives at college and on the first night, he finds out he is Apollo or well as close to the version of the god Apollo. More like a miniature version in human form. On the first night he is attacked by a mythical creature but he is saved by his senior who turns out is Ares-the god of war and his twin sister Artemis and another girl who is Athena-god of wisdom. His memories of apollo are coming back slowly and only partially. His plan to finally make friends, a new start at college has backfired. Now he has to go on a quest to save the gods from the Titans who have imprisoned them. Thus, the quest begins. With so many twists and ups and downs. Will they prevail or will they fail? Love is also blooming in the air. What is to happens next?
This is authors first book. My note to the author is that please this book needs a lot and I mean a lot of editing and seriously a extra chapter or two to be added in the book so that the story could have been better told. The English language also needs a lot of work as it was filled with American English slang and as well as Indian English slang making the reader confuse. At one point I just couldn't make myself finish the book.
The romance was not genuine at all. This book was okay at best.
